Adult Literacy

Unlock new opportunities

Family Kickstart Georgia (FKSG) continues to work with homeless shelters and local Libraries to provide Adult literacy and ESL classes to Families and our Youth

Family Kickstart Georgia’s Adult Literacy programs are focused on helping marginalized community members with language, literacy difficulties take part in society by providing adult ESL adult literacy training, and support.

We offer free evening and weekend adult literacy and ESL classes.

FKSG is focused on helping learners improve skills in the following areas:

  • ESL Support: We provide language training services to adult learners in various literacy level.

  • Family literacy Support: Our coordinated services provide women and families basic health and counseling, referrals, to minimize abuse and build safety nets within families and wherever vulnerable women and children reside.

  • Supporting Organizations: We also work with organizations to provide professional services to help organizations remove literacy-related barriers to clients and customers accessing their services who may experience or have difficulties reading or writing
